Those fares too rich for your blood? Well check out this post on FlyerTalk (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1405332-special-seoul-launch-offer.html):

British Airways is using the Korean love for the number seven to promote its new route to South Korea’s capital Seoul.

It is offering business class fares for £777 return – some 70 per cent off the normal price – for seven days between November 9 and 16 for outbound travel between December 2 and December 13.

There will also be premium economy seats at £577 return and economy at £377 return for the same period.

And of course BA is flying a Boeing 777 on the route, six times a week with First class, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller cabins.

Meanwhile British Airways Holidays is offering five nights at the three-star Novotel Seoul Ambassador Doksan in Seoul from £629 person – saving £320 each – based on two people sharing, departing December 3.

The price includes return economy British Airways flights from Heathrow and room-only accommodation.

This one is priced to move fast and generate some traffic – they’ll be selling this route at a loss (and no, I can’t take part in the sale as I have a lot of things on in December), so if you can squeeze this… TAKE IT – this is going to be Tier Point Crazy for not a lot of cash.

Now, before you go – PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pop a comment in my Comments for Hurricane Sandy Dollars post, where your comment is worth $1. And since five of us on Boarding Area are trying to raise $1800 through the power of comments alone (and it’s closing at 23:59EDT/06:00GMT).

I’m begging you please to comment so as bloggers, we can raise cash for a darn worthy cause.

All its going to cost you is 30 seconds to type a comment to force me to put my hand in my wallet.

The post is at http://economyclassandbeyond.boardingarea.com/2012/11/05/after-sandy-ways-to-help-and-get-points-and-a-way-to-get-me-to-help/

Currently in Seoul. Awesome city although I suspect it may be too cold in December.

Great job by all the boarding area bloggers on the Hurricane Sandy relief effort

You can get a lot more tier points for £777 than 280 for a Seoul round trip …. Although don’t let that put people off what is a great fare, even if all you do is fly on somewhere else in Asia.
