And a happy Chinese New Year to all my readers.
The coming of Chinese New Year is marked by many things – red lanterns, firecrackers, red packets and of course – travel so that families can reunite for the New Year period.
And the travel part normally applies to me as I normally head to my parents for the weekend.
Alas this year, other things have conspired against me – those of you who read this blog often will know what’s going on – suffice to say I have been planning, researching… And I’ve had an interview today for a new role.
It’s not perfect, but a role is a role… With the fiscal backing so I can pack my bags up and travel.
Hopefully, time will allow my parents and me to celebrate the new year – whatever it brings.
May the Year of the Snake being you good fortune and luck.. And a more stable year than the Year of the Dragon has been.
