Alitalia boosts services at London City

11/03/2013 by Kevincm

It seems London City Airport is doing a good job of pull inning in more services with Alitalia adding an extra service.

Alitalia will add extra services Milan Linate and launching a new route to Rome.

Milan-Linate – London City will increase to 18 flights a week for the current 11 from the 31st March

Meanwhile, on the 1st April, the Rome – London City route will open on the following timetable

AZ212 DEPART FCO 09:30 ARRIVE LCY 11:10
AZ211 DEPART LCY 11:40 ARRIVE FCO 15:20

Commences: 1st April 2013
Operates: Daily, except Sunday
Booked Equipment: Embarer 190
Operated by Alitalia Cityliner

For London City Aport, it’s another boost to providing connections from the City base to more destinations – and for the passenger, more choice in which airport to land and depart from.

And depending which side of London you’re in or heading to, that can make a big difference.
