How having an active PNR can may you smile…

11/03/2013 by Kevincm

(PNR = Passenger Name Record)

Sometimes little things in life can make you smile.

For quite some time, my list of bookings on my phone has been empty – a very sad sight for any flyer, and all I could do was look at my previous flights.

I use the great MyFlights App to track my upcoming flights, and to look at all my past adventures – that and it handles Amadeus based reservations a dream warning you if something has changed without the airline telling you. The Tripit integration is darn useful when you have bookings with airlines who don’t use the Amadeus CRS.

That changed last night when I made my first booking of the year (and more importantly, it charged to the credit card correctly), and it showed up on Amadeus straight away.

So yes, I’m back in the air soon – and my holding list of active PNR’s has increased by 1. It maybe 1 out of 1, but it’s a start to the yea… and it’s making me smile

As to the PNR itself… well, lets say I’m back to the Windy City on a short trip, and trying out some well known airlines as I attempt to resurrect something I’ve done over time with United – and analyse how the quality of service changes at near enough fixed points in the year.

Well it should be a giggle with the curve ball I’ve thrown at it.

Chicago 14: Back into action is coming soon 😉

      All in good time 😉

But you’ll ask what it’s all about… (Think South Park)
