Whilst the nice flight in BA’s Club World is over (what a shame), I’m heading homeward bound.
However, kids in business class… Especially on a sleeper night service… And when the parents make little effort to control them….
Sigh.
More later as I begin the long slog home.

The failure to control is a legitimate complaint, having kids in business class is not. In what way do you have any more inherent right to be there than them? I’ve had far more problems sleeping in premium cabins from boorish, loud adult conversations than I have fom kids (although admittedly a greater number of seats are filled with loud adult bores than kids).
I’ve done 12 loan haul legs with kids 6 and under in first or business. Every single one of them with the exception of a largely empty Singapore Suites class has featured multiple dirty looks from other passengers and/or cabin crew on boarding just for having small kids. Surprisingly often, the very same people come up at the end of the flight to compliment us or the kids on their behavior. And I can confidently say our kids have not prevented others from sleeping on any of those journeys. The world would be a better place if people could assume a situation out of their control is going to be OK until such point it isn’t.
