Milan airports to go on strike tommorow – EasyJet to cancels/divert flights

28/05/2013 by Kevincm

SEA Group (owners of the airports in Milan) have confirmed that a 24 hour strike at the airport is going ahead on Wednesday 29th May, affecting Milan-Linate and Milan-Malpensa airports.

Flights could be delayed or canceled for those of you who go are going through these two airports.

So much so, that EasyJet has decided to scrub up to 60 services to and from these airports during the strike period.

The full list is at http://easyjet.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3970

Some services between London Gatwick, London Luton and Charles De Gaulle will operate to Turin instead, and a shuttle coach operating between the two cities.

EasyJet advise all passengers to check before flying to see if their service is canceled or diverted.

Meanwhile, other airlines have yet to announce what they will be doing tomorrow. Suffice to say, keeping an eye on the Milan Airports twitter feed at @MiAirports could be a good idea if you’re planning to go through these airports.

… and expect delays.

It was really bad news for all passengers. But before the 29 May, SEA Group have confirmed that a 24 hour strike at the airport is going ahead on Wednesday 29th May at Milan Airport. So passenger didn’t have to face the problem at the airport.
