It’s closing in on the summertime, so it means someone has to go out on strike. This time, it’s the French Air Traffic controllers.
The strike is set to begin Tuesday 06:00CET and end on Friday 05:59CET – a 72 hour strike action.
DGAG – the French Civil Aviation Authority has requested carriers cut their services by 50% at the following airports:
– Bordeaux
– Lyon
– Marseille
– Nice
– Paris (all airports)
– Toulouse
This of course will impact on carriers serving France during these dates

Other carriers will be cancelling both Long and Short Haul flights – check with your operator.
Obviously, it goes without saying that you should be checking your bookings now, and expecting cancellations along route.
For those of you within Europe, it could be worth seeing what space is available on Eurostar or Thalys, and rebook accordingly if getting a seat on a plane is going to be a major challenge….
