Singapore Airlines trims capacity between Singapore and London

30/07/2013 by Kevincm

Singapore Airlines is adjusting its capacity between Singapore Changi and London Heathrow, with two services going over from A380 operation to Boeing 777-300ER’s in the next timetable.

The changes are due to go into effect from the winter timetable – 27th October 2013.

Here’s the revised schedule:

Singapore to London
SQ306 DEPART SIN 01:15 ARRIVE LHR 07:20   777-300ER
SQ308 DEPART SIN 09:15 ARRIVE LHR 15:10   777-300ER
SQ318 DEPART SIN 12:55 ARRIVE LHR 19:05   A380
SQ322 DEPART SIN 23:45 ARRIVE LHR 05:55+1 A380

London to Singapore
SQ317 DEPART LHR 10:55 ARRIVE SIN 0735+1   A380
SQ305 DEPART LHR 14:05 ARRIVE SIN 1045+1   777-300ER
SQ319 DEPART LHR 18:15 ARRIVE SIN 1455+1   777-300ER
SQ321 DEPART LHR 22:05 ARRIVE SIN 1845+1   A380

All services operate daily
Equipment: 777-300 = Boeing 777-300ER
           A380    = Airbus A380

Whilst it is a capacity downgrade, the 4 times a day service between the two cities remain.

Alas, there is plenty of time until the new timetable kicks off, and changes are possible (be they planned or short term). For those of you who want lovely suites, the A380 operations are still good for those, whilst 777-300ER has a 1st Class Seat.
