Qatar Airways to boost services to Moscow

12/08/2013 by Kevincm

Qatar Airways is preparing to add two extra services a week to its Doha to Moscow route:

Doha - Moscow
QR868 DEPART DOH 07:25 ARRIVE DMR 13:40
QR866 DEPART DOH 12:45 ARRIVE DME 18:55

Moscow - Doha

QR869 DEPART DME 14:50 ARRIVE DOH 19:00
QR867 DEPART DME 19:55 ARRIVE DOH 00:05+1

QR868/869 does not operate Thursdays
QR866/867 does not operate Mondays

QR868/869 is booked for an Airbus A320
QR866/867 is booked for an Airbus A321

Effective 1st September 2013

It seems that Qatar Airways has gone for frequency over capacity on this route – and that’s a good thing as wide-body jets are expensive to fly it they’re half empty. It also gives the traveller more choices when traveling – which considering this flight will connect Qatars long range services – is not a bad thing.

The new schedule goes into effect from 1st September 2013.
