British Airways adds an additional service to Mexico City

16/08/2013 by Kevincm

British Airways will be boosting the frequency of its London Heathrow to Mexico City service, with the addition of an extra flight (taking it from three flights a week to four).

The new flight operates on Sunday – returning the same day. The updated timetable looks like this:

BA243 DEPART LHR 12:40 ARRIVE MEX 18:20
BA242 DEPART MEX 21:00 ARRIVE LHR 13:00+1

Booked Equipment: Boeing 747-400

Flights operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
BA243 on Sunday arrives 5 minutes later the listed above.
Commences: 27th October 2013

For those who wish to connect to Mexico and beyond, this could be a reasoanble option. There are plenty of one-stop services (either via France, Germany, Canada or the USA), and AeroMexico itself offering a direct flight some days of the week.
