Jet Airways of India is to increase its capacity to Singapore, by adding an extra daily service between Mumbai and Singapore.
The new timetable looks like this:
9W010 DEPART BOM 09:50 ARRIVE SIN 18:00 9W012 DEPART BOM 23:30 ARRIVE SIN 07:35+1 9W011 DEPART SIN 19:05 ARRIVE BOM 22:00 9W009 DEPART SIN 20:05 ARRIVE BOM 23:10 Commences: 1st November 2013 Flights 9W009/9W010 are booked to operate with Boeing 737-800 Flights 9W011/9W012 are booked to operate with Airbus A330-200
It’s an interesting offering, with the new flights (9W009/9W010) being operated during the daytime, allowing for an early departure from Mumbai and an evening dinner in Singapore, whilst the nighttime service offers a wide-body product.
Jet Airways competes with Air India and Singapore Airlines (in direct flights), as well as Malaysia Airlines, Emirates, Thai and others on indirect flights.
As always: it adds more options between two cities. Always a good thing.
