I know a lot of people who are devotees of differently painted planes. I also know a lot of people who are devotees of a mouth-less cat promoted by Sanrio.
Well, Hello Kitty finally has her Boeing 777-300ER, painted up by EVA Air. The scheme is called “Hand in Hand”

EVA Air describes the paint work as
“Hello Kitty Sanrio Family, the theme of the Sanrio Family Jet,features the cute feline waving her magic wand, sprinkling shining stars and heralding the start of a happy journey. Hello Kitty’s friends and family members join her on the aircraft in a cheerful representation of friendship and love”
The Hello Kitty Jet will operate flight BR16/B15 Taipei to Los Angeles as the following
BR16 (Tapei to LA Operates 18SEP13 – 02NOV13: (MON、THU、SAT), 3NOV13 – 08MAR14: (WED、FRI、 SUN)
09MAR14 – 25OCT14: (MON、THU、SAT) with BR15 operating one day later.
Now, it’s simple really – you’ve got the dates and the knowledge… do you want to fly Hello Kitty… or not? How much cute can you stand on a Trans-Pacific flight?
Joey says
From their website, flight BR16 (TPE-LAX) is always on W/F/Su. It is flight BR15 that has day changes depending on daylight savings time or not.

I’ll admit it; I’m a huge dork. I would totally TRY to get on the Hello Kitty plane. =)
Chris says
I would too
Joey says
Tiff & Chris, me three! I live in NYC but would totally fly Eva Air via LAX versus the nonstop TPE-JFK just to fly on this Hello Kitty flight!
Sandy says
Tiff, Chris, and Joey, me four! I’m totally excited about this.

Um yeah. Being cool is way overrated. HELLO KITTY ALL THE WAY!
I wasn’t going to fly YVR-TPE anyways on the old 747, so this is definitely something I will be doing in the next few months.
