The exact who’s operating what flight yet should be loaded into the GDS once they’re available for sale.

The New York bound flights will serve all times of day, right up to the last departure which will be a boon for those who want to have a full day of work, then a trip to the airport. Meanwhile, the London bound flights form a shuttle service in the evening between the two cities.

There will opportunities for Virgin Atlantic Flying Club and Delta Skymiles members to earn and burn across the two airlines, with Premium customers having reciprocal access to Delta Sky Club and Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse lounges.

Business class passengers will also get priority check-in, boarding, baggage handling and additional baggage allowance on all Delta and Virgin Atlantic operated flights worldwide.

The new timetable goes on sale on 5th October.

Virgin Atlantic is famous for its salt and pepper pots. Delta is famous for wagging a finger saying “Smoking is not allowed”, and Lufthansa… is famous for its rubber ducks it has in the First Class Terminals.
