For those going between London and Toronto in 2014, there’s going to be quite a lot of choice to which aircraft you fly with British Airways.
The Summer timetable re-instates 17 services a week, operated by Boeing 747s, Boeing 777s and Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
How it falls will depend what flight you’re intending to be on and when
London Heathrow to Toronto Pearson BA093 DEPART LHR 12:15 ARRIVE YYZ 14:55 BA097 DEPART LHR 14:05 ARRIVE YYZ 17:10 BA099 DEPART LHR 16:20 ARRIVE YYZ 18:55 BA093 operates daily with a Boeing 747-400 BA097 operates with a Boeing 777-200 on Monday, Friday and Sunday BA099 operates daily with a Boeing 787 Toronto Pearson to London Heathrow BA092 DEPART YYZ 18:45 ARRIVE LHR 06:30+1 BA098 DEPART YYZ 20:55 ARRIVE LHR 08:50+1 BA096 DEPART YYZ 22:45 ARRIVE LHR 11:00+1 BA092 operates daily with a Boeing 747-400 BA096 operates with a Boeing 777-200 on Monday, Friday and Sunday BA098 operates daily with a Boeing 787. Departs/Arrives 25 minutes later on Monday New timetable commences 30th March 2014.
The extra services a week increase is good for those who want to maximise their time in Canada and the Toronto area, whilst adding an afternoon flight for those who need to work in the morning and fly in the afternoon.
In a capacity increase, a Boeing 747 will be operated daily too for BA92/93. And for those keeping count, BA is operating 3 of the 4 types of Boeing wide-bodies to Toronto.
Booking is open now, however airplane types are subject to change.
You can find out what I thought of BA’s Club World service from Toronto to London at http://economyclassandbeyond.boardingarea.com/2013/04/30/back-in-action-up-to-the-top-british-airways-098-yyz-lhr-in-club-world/ when I got the biggest upgrade I’ve had in the battlefield of the airport….
