Emirates are preparing to boost their capacity between Paris CDG and Dubai, with the change of equipment from a mix of Airbus A380 and Boeing 777-300ER equipment to a pure A380 operation
The new operational timetable looks like this:
Dubai - Paris CDG EK071 DEPART DXB 04:30 ARRIVE CDG 09:40 EK073 DEPART DXB 08:20 ARRIVE CDG 13:30 EK075 DEPART DXB 15:00 ARRIVE CDG 20:05 Paris CDG - Dubai EK072 DEPART CDG 11:20 ARRIVE DXB 19:50 EK074 DEPART CDG 15:35 ARRIVE DXB 00:20+1 EK076 DEPART CDG 21:50 ARRIVE DXB 06:20+1 EK071/72 does not operate on THURSDAY. Booked Equipment: Airbus A380-800 Commences: 1st June 2014
The timings as usual connect to Emirates vast selection of Eastbound services to Asia, the Far East and beyond.
Currently EK071/72 is operated with a Boeing 777-300ER operating 6 of the 20 flights between the two cities. The other 14 flights are currently operated with Airbus A380s.
Whilst not a major capacity increase, it does boost the amount of Economy and Business Class seats. For those in the UK who want to take advantage of saving some Air Passenger Duty, Paris CDG isn’t that far away from Paris-Nord, making a Eurostar > RER > Emirates connection not infeasible.
