Delta Airlines has announced that has converted all flights between Germany and the United States of America to have a BusinessElite cabin with a flat bed in it.
The last flight to be converted over was the Dusseldorf – Atlanta route.
With this switch, Delta offers over 3000 business beds between the two countries a week, with services from Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Munich and Dusseldorf to Atlanta, Detroit and New York-JFK over six routes.
Delta operates their BusinessElite cabin in a 1-2-1 formation, with a full flat bed, 10.6″ IFE Screen, AC Power and a USB port to charge up the gadgets you have with you.
Delta offers a 2 and 3/4 cabins, with Business Elite, Economy Comfort and Economy (Economy Comfort offering more legroom, alcoholic beverages and Group 1 boarding).
Whilst using Skymiles can be a challenge on the longer legs at a lower price, it’s good to see that on every route, there is a flat bed at the front of the plane…
… just feel sorry for those crammed in the back of the plane in economy.
