It seems the Intercontinental hotel group is having a flash sale, with some darn good prices over Christmas and the New Year:

Whilst the IC’s are a bit expensive compared to the rest of the hotels on offer, there is value to be had if you look hard enough… (for example, the Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Expresses are very reasonably priced)
