It seems that British Airways Cityflyer is going on the attach with the introduction of new routes from London City Airport.
From 30th March, Citiflyer will introduce London City Airport to Rotterdam with up to 5 flights a day.

A direct impact of this is the London – Dusseldorf route will switch from the Eastern Airways SAAB 2000 Turboprop to a Embraer 170/190 (with extra capacity too).
Florence will also join the London City network, operating 4 days a week:

A Embraer E-Jet is quite a comfortable way of flying around as most of us know – it feels that bit wides that the other jets from the competition.
This is one of the many changes at one of my favourite airports, with three more Embraer 190s due to come online this year, and an order for an extra one going in recently.
It puts British Airways in quite a strong position at London City Airport… something CityJet could well struggle with right now….
