Qatar Airways is slowly increasing its coverage of the USA with the announcement today that it will be starting a service to Dallas Fort Worth from 1st July 2014.
The timetable looks a bit like below:
QR733 DEPART DOH 08:10 ARRIVE DFW 16:15 QR734 DEPART DFW 19:35 ARRIVE DOH 18:20+1 Commences 1st July 2014 Operating Daily Booked equipment: Boeing 777-200LR
Qatar Airways will use the long range Boeing 777-200LR on the route, configured as:
– 42 Business Class Seats configured in 2-2-2
– 217 Economy Seats in Economy configured in 3-3-3
This will be the second route to Texas, connecting it to American Airlines very nicely with many connections from its Fortress Hub.
Qatar Airways also operate routes to New York-JFK, Chicago O’Hare, and Houston Intercontinental and Washington Dulles. In addition, there are long standing announcements for services to Miami and Philadelphia for services to commence in 2014.
It’s going to make a compelling case for those who need to hop those long haul distances, needing extensive connections at Dallas…
