Good evening from Birmingham Airport where I’m sitting in the public terminal area as I prepare to execute my end of year qualification run:
As you look at this map, you’ll notice there’s a fair bit of convoluted routing… and that’s just in New York and Newark. The mess that is Europe will provide some surprises (as a train will feature heavily in this trip too!)
So far, I’ve succeeded dealing with the toughest part of the trip – checking in (which when flying Air France on a FlyMightBe code share is pretty tough), and dealing with life without a lounge.
I can live without a lounge. Although I will have to raid the newsagent before I set off.
