A long day of flying ahead….

20/01/2014 by Kevincm

Good morning from San Francisco International, where the time is 5:49, and I’m wondering why I’m doing this to myself today with a long day of flying ahead.

Today’s route will see me doing a full Trans-Continental back from San Francisco to the New York area, followed by one of the most harrowing transits ahead – Between JFK and Newark..

All this for a proper flat-bed towards Europe (AA operates 767-300ERs to Paris… and those wedgie beds aren’t the epitome of comfort).

Might try to get a switch at JFK for the equivalent operated flight, but I think the transit across the city (at peak) is going to be a reality.

Still – there’s nothing in life, like a little adventure.

It’s not an issue to get from JFK to EWR, just take the NY Airporter bus which leaves from just outside the terminals. You make a stop in manhattan, change buses done.
