Japan Airlines is playing plane and route swap-a-round as Tokyo Haneda opens up to more daytime flighs. There are two big changes coming up – one of which is pretty major Firstly, Japan Airlines will switch it’s Tokyo Narita – London Heathrow route to operate from Tokyo Haneda
JL043 DEPART HND 11:20 ARRIVE LHR 15:50 JL044 DEPART LHR 19:15 ARRIVE HND 15:00+1 Operates Daily from 30th March 2014 Booked Equipment: Boeing 777-300ER Service operates as JL401/402 on 30th/31st March 214
Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City will gain services from Tokyo Haneda:

The night time operated service between Haneda and Paris CDG switches to a day time service
JL045 DEPART HND 10:35 ARRIVE CDG 16:10 JL046 DEPART CDG 21:00 ARRIVE HND 15:55+1 Operates Daily from 30th March 2014 Booked Equipment: Boeing 777-300ER (Uprated from a Boeing 777-200ER) Service operates as JL405/406 on 30/31MAR14
In addition:
Tokyo Haneda – Bangkok doubles from one service a day to two
Tokyo Haneda – Singapore doubles from one service a day to two
As Tokyo Haneda opens up more, it becomes much more attractive to airlines and customers, allowing lots of connections to domestic operators (such as ANA, JAL, Skymark etc) – as well as a 15 minute ride (depending if you take the monorail or the train) to the centre of Tokyo, rather that dealing with the long journey from Tokyo Narita (taking anything from 36 minutes right up to 45 minutes depending if you take the Skyliner or the Narita Express)
