Lufthansa to send a Boeing 747-8i to Seoul

31/01/2014 by Kevincm

For part of the Winter and Summer season, Lufthansa will be uprating its Frankfurt to Seoul Incheon route to feature the newest variant of the Boeing 747 the 747-8I (the I is for Intercontinental)

The revised operation will operate from 28th February until 30th June 2014 (with returns to Frankfurt operating one day later)

These will operate on flight LH712 (Frankfurt to Seoul Incheon ) and LH713 (Seoul Incheon to Frankfurt)

There are two configurations of the Lufthansa 747-8i, with

– 8 First Class Seats/Suites on the lower deck
– Either 92 or 80 Business Class Seats (both on the lower and upper deck)
– Either 262 or 298 Economy Class seats on the lower deck

For those who are using precious miles, this could be a good opportunity to get access to the “new” first and business class products loaded on these planes

(…or if you really like an good option, grab the Asiana flight instead…)
