It seems Qatar Airways is throwing another companion fare sale at the moment, with a two-for-one fare sale in Econoy and Business Class.

Now, with this sort of fare, there are going to be some strings attached, and here they are:
- Valid on Qatar Airways operated flights from London Heathrow (LHR), Manchester(MAN) and Edinburgh(EDI).
- Sales period: 11th February 2014 – 14th February 2014.
- Travel period: 20th February – 17th December 2014. All return travel must be completed by 17th December 2014.
- For Perth, advertised fares are valid for travel between 16th April – 30th June 2014.
- Blackout dates (travel not allowed): 24th July – 13th September 2014.
- Minimum stay: 5 Days.
- Maximum stay: 3 Months.
- Passengers must travel together at all times.
- 2 for 1 offer applies to fare only. Taxes and surcharges apply for each ticket.
- Taxes and surcharges will apply to the companion ticket.
- Stopovers are not permitted.
- Changes and cancellations are not permitted.
So, whilst not ideal for a summer holiday break, it has its uses if you’re in a position to book tickets, and the fares and destinations work for you.
