As we move into the 2nd day of the loss of Flight MH370, things are getting more complex, with the US Federal Bureau of Investigation starting to take an interest in the happenings of the flight – in particular the use of stolen passports in the passenger list.
The LA Times http://www.latimes.com/world/worldnow/la-fg-wn-fbi-disappearance-malaysian-airlines-jet-20140308,0,5571373.story#axzz2vQ9YYaY7 reports further on the US Involvement as there were 4 US Citizens – 3 adults and one infant – aboard the ill fated flight.
The Italian and Austrian passport holders have been identified in their respective territories, as alive and their passports marked as stolen.
No terrorist link has emerged yet from this incident, and it could be possible the passports were brought for illicit travel purposes.
Meanwhile, the aircraft involved – a Boeing 777-200 (9M-MRO) has not been found yet, with the search area and range efforts now to be expanded.
The latest statement from Malaysia Airlines states:

I feel sorry for the families with No answer to IF there family members are alive or dead, not closure at all. Plus the black box should be pinging. and it is odd that it is not. I am wondering If that plane landed someplace.on some Island. No plane just disappears with out a trace. I would say the people are most likely dead. Truly sad I do hope they find the plane. And the families have closure.
