MH370: Possible Debris found?

12/03/2014 by Kevincm

As the days have gone on, the hunt for the plane that flew MH370 on 8 March 2014 has intensified, with various nations pulling in to help with the hunt for the missing aircraft.

AVHearld  – along with The Guardian and CNN is reporting that Chinese satellites have picked up imagery of a debris field.

Invalid request error occurred.

The images were picked up Sunday, and released today (Wednesday) by China’s State Administration for Science at http://www.sastind.gov.cn/n112/n117/c303244/content.html (the site is suffering from non responsiveness).

Coordinates of 105.63 east longitude, 6.7 north latitude were given, placing the field northeast of where it took off in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and south of Vietnam, near where the South China Sea meets the Gulf of Thailand.

No distress or emergency signal was sent from the plane which had 239 people aboard.

The flight number MH370/MH371 has now been retired and the numbers will be replaced by MH318/319 at similar timings.

If the sighting are proved to be true, hopefully it will begin to provide closure for the families who are missing loved ones.
