It seems the French Air Traffic controllers are to go on strike today with impact to be felt quite quickly as flights to and from France will be hit. Flights over flying France will be affected.
Some highlights:
- Air France is pulling between 30% of flights from Paris and 20% from other French Cities. The Short and Medium Haul programmes are expected to be impacted
- British Airways intends to run a full programme, although cancellations are likely
- Delta are allowing re-bookings
- EasyJet has not informed numbers, but will cancel flights
- Eurostar is expecting to run a normal service
- KLM is expecting cancellations
- Lufthansa is expecting cancellations on flights in and out of Paris
- Ryanair has pulled 26 flights from its schedule.
- United Airlines are also allowing changes
Other airlines may cancel flights or delayed. As usual – please check with your carrier before you head off to the airport.
