Video Saturday – Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 vs Cars…

22/03/2014 by Kevincm

I’ve written far too much about things that don’t make me smile recently – so I’ve decided to post something that will make people smile. Namely because it involves:

  • A Boeing 747-400 (However much the BBC try and cover it up, we all know it’s a Virgin Atlantic bird)
  • Four General Electric CF-6 Engines
  • Cars
  • Richard Hammond doing … well… what he does best.

(Yes, it’s a Top Gear clip… an old one – but a good one).

The results can be seen below:

So, what do we learn from this?

  • Don’t go in front of (or behind) a jet engine when it’s spooling up and running at full power
  • Don’t argue with a 747-400. You’ll loose.
  • And don’t drive a Citroen 2CV. At all.
