MH370: French Satellites pick up possible debris

23/03/2014 by Kevincm

Further news this morning in the hunt for MH370 as countries continue to scour the Southern Indian Ocean as Malaysia states they have new images from the France which could help finding this aircraft.

According to the Malaysian Transport Ministry

“This morning, Malaysia received new satellite images from the French authorities showing potential objects in the vicinity of the southern corridor”

“Malaysia immediately relayed these images to the Australian rescue co-ordination center.”

The actual images themselves have not been released for public consumption, nor the location of them – if they were in the same location as the Australian and Chinese image releases.

Again, these images could be anything, and might not related to the loss of MH370, and require investigation.

The search effort has resumed today with eight aircraft (five military, three civilian), with the P3 Orions and a P8 Poseidon deployed in what the Australian Prime Minister – Tony Abbot – calls “Creditable leads” in the hunt for MH370

The Australian based search is its fourth day, drawing on resources across the region in an effort to find this lost plane. Whilst it night now at Perth, more eyes in the eye will help when the hunt resumes in the morning.
