Some of us love flight logging tools – be it the ever venerable FlightMemory , OpenFlights, or FlightDiary (to name but a few)
British Airways thinks is a good idea, and have introduced My FlightPath.
You can access it via your Executive Club Main screen (see below)
….or if you’re lazy, head to https://www.britishairways.com/travel/my-flight-path/execclub/_gf/en_gb, and enter your Executive Club credentials.
You’ll get a lovely screen showing you some numbers and stats…
(these are actually my numbers… these are BA Flights only)
You’ll get a Facebookesque timeline which also shows your flights too.
There’s also a handy map, and the unbiquitous social media badges. Because everyone likes badges….
Yeah. Badges.. what was it about not needing badges…?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice tool, but a bit unfinished (as it can’t handle codeshares, and the map can only deal with return trips), and in no way is it as flexible as other tools out there.
Me? I use OpenFlights. Throws anything I throw at it, and it has some nice maps and stats too:
(My OpenFlights are listed on: http://openflights.org/user/kevincm for those who are interested….).
Anyone else have their own favourite mapping tools?
