KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines) have some excellent fares to certain destinations in the Caribbean, starting at €999 return (plus an annoying €10 booking fee).
The KLM Sale fares are in Economy and Business Class, with economy class starting at €499 and business class fares at a bit more of a bargain starting at €999.
The sale covers the following destinations:
- Aruba
- Bonaire
- Curacao
- St Maarten
The fares do have some important restrictions:
- Book by 11th August 2014
- Travel to be completed by 30th September
- Minimum stay 7 nights
- All fares booked subject to a €10 booking fee
- Business class tickets book into ticketing class Z for those who want big miles (or not).
Now, whilst the rules say seven days, I’ve had a quick look at the KLM site… and I can see otherwise….
This is a pretty tasty fare from KLM, with a chance for good flights in their Business Class product. Even the economy class fares aren’t that bad, with lead in prices from €499.
Apart from the annoying €10 booking fee.
If you are still looking for a last minute Caribbean escape fro Europe, and can position yourself to Amsterdam with the minimal of fuss, this could be a good last minute holiday for you in the making (as well as collecting a reasonable slug of points).
Alternanitly, for an Aviation Geek who wants to experience the St Maarten approach for themselves… or watch an approach from the beach, this could be a fun spotting trip…
