It’s time to go back in time again as you stow your luggage in the overhead locker, bring your seat in the upright position and put away your tray table as we go to this week’s safety video.
And I did promise a step back in time as one we look at one of the old giants of the air – now gone – as Trans World Airlines demonstrate the safety of their Boeing 747s.

Still got to love the use of an actual escape slide inflated, the extinguishing of cigarettes and smoking.
As we all know, TWA lead from being one of the big four airlines in the 1930s, to worldwide coverage, to suffering from a series of bankruptcies, and finally being brought by American Airlines.
