I’ll be honest, forums and blogs are great resources. They can give you ideas, thoughts and everything else in between. However, some of the best things going is to go events, meeting people and actually talking to them to gain ideas and food for thought.
Last year, I went to TravelMagic who hosted a great event.
This year however, the big hitters are here and upping sticks to Europe, with Frequent Traveler University coming to Amsterdam between 21st November to 23rd November.
Events like these are a great place to network, learn and talk.
And yes, if you scroll down the FTU Amsterdam page, you’ll find a little something there…
Yes, my ugly mug is there. You don’t escape at all.
Yes, yours truly will be speaking at Frequent Traveler University. The title of the my presentations is under wraps (and I have a feeling I’ll be writing some of it with my friend and colleague – Tim from Points to be Made).
I’m sure it will be an interesting event – and I’d love to see you there!
Be warned. It won’t be a typical presentation. For starters, I have a few bags worth of “Non Monetary Benefits stuff” to give away during my presentation (so yes, you will have to pay attention).
I look forward to seeing you there!
And yes, I’m using the American spelling of traveler. Doesn’t sit well with me, even with my bad grammar…

This is exciting! The price is a bit high, in my opinion, but after reading this is only restricted to 120 attendees, then I understand. I wonder if it’ll be more like FTU Advanced. Either way, have a great time!
