Qatar Airways have finally taken delivery of their first Airbus A380, with plans to receive a total of four of the super-jumbo aircraft.

As a result, routes are starting to come out, with London being the first destination for this double-decker plane, the second being Paris, and the third rotation will be another London rotation, taking over service QR001/002 from 1st December.
The inaugural service will between Doha and London Heathrow will commence on 10th October, operating the QR003/004 rotations, operating the following time-table:
QR003 DEPART DOH 07:45 ARRIVE LHR 12:25 QR004 DEPART LHR 14:15 ARRIVE DOH 23:55 Commences 10th October with an Airbus A380
The QR1/2 rotation kicks in from the 1st December 2014 adding these flights to the schedule.
QR001 DEPART DOH 12:50 ARRIVE 1730 QR002 DEPART LHR 20:30 ARRIVE 0615+1DOH 388 D Commences 1st December with an Airbus A380. Data: Airlineroute
Timings of QR001/002 will work out very well for those who need to connect onto Australia, as well as those who need to get to Asia.
Seating aboard this 517 double-decker aircraft will be split down to:
- 8 First Class Seats
- 48 Business Class Seats
- 461 Economy Class seats
Qatar Airways have been cutting and dicing the A380 rotations around as it was unclear when it was going to get the aircraft. Now that aircraft have been delivered/in the process of being delivered, schedules should hopefully solidify to allow passengers to book seats with confidence.

I swear there were some award seats for the A380 in F before but now nothing shows up anymore using ba.com. Seems like QR has gone LH 🙁
