It’s Sunday, so it must be time for some more Airplane Art.
This week, taxing at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport on a very sunny summer evening is an American Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-80.
The image is clickable if you want to see a larger version – and yes you can keep them for your desktops!
American Airlines have 143 MD-80 series aircraft left in their fleet, with the fleet due for retirement in 2018 as modern more full efficent (and less nosier aircraft) will join the fleet – with Boeing 737-800s and Boeing 737 MAX 8s replacing them.
More Airplane art next week!
