EVA Air adds Houston Intercontinental to its network

The airline of Hello Kitty is to add a new US Destination, with the city of Houston to gain a service between Taipei Taoyuan and Houston Intercontinental from June 2015.

BR052 Operates Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 8th July 2015
BR051 Operates Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday  from 9th July 2015

Commences 19th June
BR052 operates earlier on 19th June 2015
Booked Equipment: Boeing 777-300ER (333 seater)
Data: EVA Air

This will be EVA Air’s fifth destination in the United States of America using their Boeing 777-300ER equipment. For EVA Air, it’s another step in the USA – and an interesting port at that.

There’s going to be more than enough Star Alliance traffic from United Airlines supplying US domestic flights, and not much competition – with international partners ANA, United, Singapore Airlines (via Moscow) and Air China. Korean Air also has a service to Asia too.

A strong service, with enough of commitment to increase the service further if the demand needs it. It’ll be interesting to see if this service works.
