EasyJet continues its march into unfamiliar territories, with the addition of a new service between Paris Charles De Gaulle and Tel Aviv in Israel.

The airline will operate services from Paris CDG to Tel Aviv three times a week from 30th March 2015 onwards. The upcoming timetable looks like this:
U23737 DEPART CDG 12:20 ARRIVE TLV 18:15 U23738 DEPART TLV 19:10 ARRIVE CDG 23:15 U23747/3738 operates Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays U23747/3738 operate 20 minutes earlier on Saturdays Booked Equipment: Airbus A320.
EasyJet has slowly been building its network to Tel Aviv with the open skies agreement that allows it to land services there. Already, there are services from London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Berlin Schönefeld, Basel, Geneva, Milan-Malpensa and Rome Fiumicino Airport.

The flights EasyJet are providing, are going against the legacy national carriers that serve Tel Aviv – as well as causing a headache to the flag carrier El Al who is attempting to fight back with its Up! subsidiary.
It may not be a full “business friendly” timetable with a daily flight, but these nibbles at the edge of El Al business are just the start if history was to repeat itself…
