Recently voted by The Rough Guide as one of the Top 10 Cities in the world (and also the base of Economy Class and Beyond), Emirates will be gracing the local airport – Birmingham Airport (BHX) – with a third daily service between the Dubai and Birmingham.

Emirates will add a third service a day between the two cities, departing the dead of the Dubai night, arriving bright and early in the morning in Birmingham, with EK041/EK042 being the new pair.

For Emirates, it’s another nibble at the British market. It also diverts more passengers away from the London hubs, and funnelling them through Dubai instead.
