Eurostar/Eurotunnel returns to normal operation after fire

20/01/2015 by Kevincm

For those of you who are travelling through the Channel Tunnel, services are returning to normal after the fire during this weekend.

Eurostar Class 373 TMST

  • The Eurostar Intercity Passenger is operating a full timetable – however delays of 30 minutes during the journeys are expected
  • The EuroTunnel car and freight shuttle is operating a service, with disruptions expected. Currently delays of 1 hour from the British side and 30 minutes on the French side are reported.

As usual, check before you depart – but things are quickly returning to normal after a fire in the Channel Tunnel. Considering the Channel Tunnel is 20 years old, it’s amazing how its fallen into the accepted structures of travel between the UK and France.
