American Airlines seem determined to make their Dallas Fort Worth hub work as a base towards Asia with routes being unveiled. The newest route to join the network is to Beijing Capital Airport, which was granted the right to operate the route.
Reservations are now open for this route, which will be operated by a new configuration Boeing 777-200ER, operating the following timetable:
AA089 DEPART DFW10:40 ARRIVE PEK 14:15+1 AA088 DEPART PEK16:25 ARRIVE DFW 17:00 Commences 7th May 2015 Booked Equipment: Boeing 777-200ER.
A quick check on AA.com indicates that seats are for sale on this route – with a 3 Class Configuration listed:

It’s a useful route boost, and will be operated in cooperation with Japan Airlines on the route. Currently, American Airlines operates routes from its fortress hub at Dallas Fort-Worth to Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai and Tokyo.
