The worlds largest operator of the Airbus A380 is to launch more routes featuring the double decker superjumbo.
Emirates will be adding another two routes over the year – with Düsseldorf in Germany gaining an A380 service in July, and Madrid in Spain gaining A380 service from August.

These will take over from Boeing 777 operated services.
The timetables are loaded into the booking systems. Düsseldorf which has two services a day will have one of the services switched to A380 operation:

Madrid – like Düsseldorf – has a 2 times daily service, and will have one of those services converted to Airbus A380 operation

With the addition of more capacity on these routes is welcome, it’s also better for the passenger experience as there are more space and facilities aboard the A380s compared to the Boeing 777-300ERs.
Whilst the routes have been announced, the booking engines are currently reflecting services are operated with Boeing 777-300ER services – so don’t put the hammer down on booking tickets just yet…
