Proving my point there are other places in the United Kingdom than London (I know, it’s an amazing fact, but there it is), Delta will be launching a service between Manchester and New York JFK on the 21st May 2015.
The service from New York commences on the 21st May and from Manchester UK on the 22nd May.
The route will be operated with a Boeing 757-200, and will operate on the following timings:
DL234 DEPART JFK 21:27 ARRIVE MAN 09:55+1 DL235 DEPART MAN 11:25 ARRIVE JFK 14:25 Commences 21st May 2015 Operates Daily Booked Equipment Boeing 757-200 Data via Delta booking engine.
The timetables are loaded and are in the Delta booking system – and are avalible for booking
Delta will be using an internationally configured Boeing 757-200, with:
- 16 Business Class Seats
- 44 Economy Comfort Seats
- 108 Economy Seats
Connectivity from Manchester with SkyTeam is limited to KLM, Air France and Saudia.
However, there is plenty of low cost carriers around, with Ryanair, EasyJet, FlyBe.
For those flying into New York JFK, they will be able to tap into the major Delta hub at the airport.
Manchester offers a great access point to the North and North West of England – with easy travel connections across the Pennines to Leeds and beyond, Manchester, Liverpool, The Lake District and other parts of the UK.
And seriously – explore the United Kingdom. There’s a lot more to the United Kingdom than London and this new Delta service offers a chance to see more of the country.
For those who live beyond the London bubble – more connectivity is always welcome at airports local to passengers.
