It’s coming up to the time where the aviation industry converges on Le Bourget airport in Paris to mull over planes, equipment both military and civilian.
Of course – it’s the Paris Air Show!
Part of the air show is the flying display – and it seems Boeing has been putting in a bit of practice before the airshow…. with spectacular results
You won’t get some of this sort of flying when sitting on this plane! The plane is of course one of Vietnam Airlines Boeing 787-9 which Boeing are displaying as part of the flying programme.
Whilst I won’t be physically at the Paris Air Show, I’ll be keeping an eye on the comings and goings, the orders and some of the discussions coming out of the big show of the year – as well as some of my idle thoughts as orders are signed.

El Ingeniero says
Pfft! No barrel rolls.
Kevin at Economy Class and Beyond says
I think Boeing still has a no-no on barrel rolls after the Boeing 376-80 (The precursor to the 707) Incident where the pilot did one… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boeing_367-80
Even on the 777’s first flight there was a line of text in the instructions – No Rolls!
