As the excitement of the Paris Air Show dies down and the industry heads into summer, there’s still plenty of work to be done at Airbus, where work is ongoing with the Airbus A350.
Thai Airways are patiently waiting for their first A350, which has begun to take shape at Airbus’s partners Stelia Aerospace and Premium Aerotec.
Lets take a look.
Firstly, here’s the nose section which is being manufactured by Stelia Aerospace.

Then nose section has been delivered to Airbus in Saint-Nazaire for assembly and equipping.
Meanwhile, the forward section is taking shape at Premium Aerotec

Now at Airbus in Hamburg, the section will be equipped with brackets, tubes, pipes and other systems, and then flown on to Saint-Nazaire.
At Saint-Nazaire, the two sections will be joined, and then sent to Toulouse for final assembly.
Thai Airways will be getting a fleet of 12 Airbus A350 aircraft, with final assembly commencing in October 2015, and deliver in Mid-2016.
But how does the A350 feel inside? I’ll have more than a fair share of views coming up in the future…
