Good morning/afternoon/I’ve lost the plot on time zones from Frankfurt Airport.

It seems Frankfurt Airport has finally got onto the bandwagon of offering free at through the terminals at last. In the past, this was limited to 30 minutes or so via a ridiculous signup method that required you to use your mobile phone.
Now, it’s a bucket load simpler than that.
- Get into the terminal at Frankfurt Airport
- Connect to the Telkom Hotspot.
- Boom. You’re connected.
Even I was amazed how simple that was.
Speed is highly variable – I’ll be honest. An early scan from the iPhone gives this speed:
Where as a scan from my laptop gives this:
So if you’re planning to do business critical stuff on it, it’s probably not the best hotspot to use. But for light browsing, editing and checking mail/social media and the like – it isn’t too bad.
Anything that improves passenger experience at a lower or no cost to the customer is good to me. This is one of those things – and a big tick for Frankfurt airport for providing this.
