Initially the service will operate 3 days a week with an Airbus A380 from early January, before going daily from late March.
The timetable looks a bit like this:
AF438 DEPART CDG 13:30 ARRIVE MEX 18:40 AF439 DEPART MEX 21:10 ARRIVE CDG 14:25+1 Commences 12th January 2016 AF438/AF389 operates Airbus A380s on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays AF438/AF389 operates Boeing 777-300ERs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays Commences 26th March 2016 AF438/439 will operate with Airbus A380s only.
Reservations appear open for the route for those of you planning breaks or trips in 2016
From a passenger experience viewpoint, the introduction of an Airbus A380 will be welcome in the back of the plane. Whilst the seat formation is the same (3-4-3), there will be more seat and shoulder width than a Boeing 777-300ER.
None the less, the capacity boost will be welcome between Paris and Mexico City.

Also, this will be another potential opportunity for heavily discounted La Première ex-EU. Already, the ex-AMS La Première flights to MIA are some of the lowest available globally.
