Earlier this year, ANA launched plans it Star Wars Boeing 787-9… painted in the colours of R2-D2.
Well, more Star Wars aircraft will be joining the ANA fleet, with the fleet to be three-strong.
There’s the R2-D2 Jet to start with:
Now this is joined with a BB8 jet, which will be in the paintwork of the new droid of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
BB8 Jet will be a Boeing 777-300ER plane, which will operate primarily to US based routes from 2016.
Finally, there will be a BB8/R2-D2 combi jet flying in Japan
This will be a Boeing 767 operating on domestic routes.
It seems the Force is strong with ANA as they promote the upcoming Star Wars film – and it does make a change from some of the boring airline liveries out there.
Of course, there’s a video to go with it:
Look out for these newly painted planes in the future!
