Emirates are increasing capacity between Dubai and Frankfurt, with the swapover of one of their services to A380 operation.

The new operation commences on the 1st January 2016, where EK047/EK048 will be swapped over from a Boeing 777-300ER to an Airbus A380.
This converts the operation from one A380 a day to two A380s a day.
The complete timetable looks like this:
Dubai to Frankfurt EK043 DEPART DXB 03:20 ARRIVE FRA 07:40 Boeing 777-300ER EK045 DEPART DXB 08:40 ARRIVE FRA 12:45 Airbus A380 (3 Class) EK047 DEPART DXB 14:35 ARRIVE FRA 18:40 Airbus A380 (3 Class) Frankfurt to Dubai EK044 DEPART FRA 09:40 ARRIVE DXB 19:00 Boeing 777-300ER EK046 DEPART FRA 14:30 ARRIVE DXB 23:45 Airbus A380 (3 Class) EK048 DEPART FRA 20:30 ARRIVE DXB 06:10+1 Airbus A380 (3 Class) Commences 1st January 2016 Booked Equipment as listed Data: Airlineroute
Emirates will operate with three class equipment on all these flights, operating First, Business and Economy seats.
In terms of seats, the Boeing 777-300ER operate 354 seats. With the swapover to an A380, this adds and extra total of 163 seats across the classes.
The route is contested by local carrier Lufthansa, who operate a single daily service with a Boeing 747-400 (along with lots of one-stop connections).
Emirates only swapped over their first flight of three to A380 operation in September 2014, so to add more capacity to Frankfurt is a signal that the airline is happy to add more capacity and passengers through its mega-hub in Dubai.
