It’s Sunday again, and time for some more airplane art.
This week, lining up for take off at Frankfurt airport on a very sunny summer afternoon is a KLM CityHopper Fokker F70 as it prepares for its return journey to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
KLM operate a fleet of 19 Fokker 70 aircraft, operating across Europe to provide feed for KLM’s long haul network out of Amsterdam Schiphol.
For those who love these aircraft, it could be time to get your skates on soon as these are due to be phased out in 2018
KLM has orders for 15 more Embraer E-175 – which will be taking the place of the Fokker F70s in the future…
