It’s been in the offing for a while, but it seems that Vereinigung Cockpit is still annoyed at Lufthansa over retirement ages and benefits, and is going out on strike on the 8th September.

This time, Long Haul and Cargo flights will be hit, with 90 long haul flights being axed, and all cargo services grounded on 08/09/2015 between 08:00 and 23:59 Central European Time.
You’ll need to check Lufthansa’s site to see if your flight is affected.
Flights operated by Germanwings, Eurowings, Swiss, Brussels Airlines, Austrian and other Lufthansa group airlines are not affected by this round of action.
For those who need to rebook, now is the time to get on and rebook.
This is the 13th walkout of pilots aligned to Vereinigung Cockpit since April 2014 in relation to pay and conditions – and there’s no sign of this dispute ending.
Sadly for the passenger – it seems the turbulence is back in the air for Lufthansa flights.

Why are they striking once again? Or are they run by some typical union boss who’s only claim to fame is winning an election ? If that happened that many times here in the US many of us FF would boycott, as should European’s.
Don’t they realize what they look like to the rest of the world ? Come on let’s be professional instead of whiner’s
